Commissions
Q360 can calculate commissions on Projects, Calls, Service Contracts, Orders and Invoices.
Q360 offers Commissions Plan definition and Commissions Rate and Quota Maintenance from the Commissions Plan form and the Commissions Rate Maintenance form (Accounting > Commissions > Commissions Plan and Accounting > Commissions > Commissions Rate). To determine if this option is a good fit for your company, please contact your Customer Care Team.
In order to determine fit, your Customer Care Team will need the following:
- Current commission plan
- Detailed commission scenarios currently in place for the purposes of evaluating portability into Q360.
- Note: We may not be able to accommodate every scenario provided, but these will be used to make recommendations as to how you might consider changing plans to work with Q360.
- Desired variable used to calculate commission
- Gross Profit, or Top Line Revenue
- Note: In Q360, this is a global configuration setting, and one method must be chosen, which is then applicable for all commission calculations. Keep in mind: commissions are fundamentally about driving a specific sales behavior. If you are unsure which variable is best for your situation, your Customer Care Team can help you understand the benefits of each.
- A Start Date. Commissions will only be calculated on items on or after this date.
- Other
- Do you use quotas?
- How many Sales Reps do you have?
- Do you pay a draw?
- Do you pay commissions on box sales?
- Do you pay commissions on service contracts?
Other Commissions Options:
If it is determined that the Q360 Commissions Plan and Rate method is not a good fit for your company, or that your company desires manual calculation of commissions based on different financial metrics (budgeted, projected or earned), you may use the information provided in the Live Data Report: Invoice Record Analysis.
This report presents a variety of invoice, project, service contract, service call and unlinked order data organized primarily by the sales rep on the invoice.
The Invoice Record Analysis Live Data Report displays invoice subtotal, budgeted projected financials, projected project financials, and earned project financials for the associated project, simplifying data collection. Non-project-related invoices will present service contract, service call or unlinked order financial information.
For detailed information on data presented, filters and set-up, please contact your Customer Care Team.
