Purpose:  Allows user to create, compare and print quote revisions, as well as revert back to a previous revision if necessary.

Optional Prerequisite:

Config: AUTOQUOTEREVISION, default = OFF

Options:

• OFF: mimics current functionality. Quote revisions may still be created manually using the Extended Menu on the Quote form.  Auto Revision flag on quote form will be OFF on new quotes
• ON: any changes to header, detail, lines items or scope of work will trigger a revision to be created and recorded in the Revisions tab grid. These revisions may then be reviewed, compared or restored as necessary
• DEFAULT ON: Auto Revision flag on quote form will be ON on new quotes

Quote > Revisions tab: displays manually-created and auto revisions in grid format

Columns:

• Gross Profit
• Sub Total
• Total
• Previous Margin Value

Extended Menu:

• Create a revision (manually create a new revision)
• Rename a revision
• Replace the revision w/current quote
• Compare the revision to current quote (side by side view) including line items added, removed or changed

Zoom Icon and Printing Revisions:

Zoom icon on the Revisions grid will take the user directly to the highlighted revision quote form.  This revision may then be printed (from the form’s Extended Menu).  Printed revision will be identified as such to differentiate it from the actual current (live) quote
