How to Set Up and Use Currency and Other Special Symbols in Q360
If your keyboard does not already have the necessary shortcut keys defined and you wish to use Alternative currency symbols as opposed to your local currency, such as Pounds when in the USA, or the Cent symbol, you can leverage Alt Entered codes to accomplish this task.
The following alt codes can be entered via a a computer, while holding the ALT key and pressing the code as noted on the number pad, followed by releasing the Alt Key.
NOTE: Entry via Number pad is required, as using the top line numbers utilize different codes on the keyboard and therefore are associated with different shortcuts. While some symbols have alternative Alt codes, such as Euro symbol Alt 8364, only those starting with 0’s (zero) will typically work within Q360 due to limitation of the browsers themselves. The 8xxx series has alternative HTML & CSS structures.
