The Project form Extended Menu contains a “Check Project Close” option. This process will run a series of checks and prevent Project closure based on the Project close logic. This works similarly to Check Dispatch Close, but a Project Close Errors grid will open, listing all errors that would prevent a Project from closing. Each error may be drilled into and this action will open the related Record that needs to be addressed before the system will allow a Project Close.
This procedure looks for the following things:
- Are there Project Revenue postings after the Project’s Close Date?
- Is there an Expense linked to an Unposted Voucher?
- Are there Unposted COGS on an Order?
