This section describes the recommendations for printing labels and how to setup master numbers to work optimally with label printing.

Installing barcode fonts
Q360 contains barcode components licensed from IDAutomation.com, Inc. These products may only be used as part of and in connection with Q360. Please contact support for instructions on installing the required code128 barcode fonts.
In order to print barcodes from the web client, you must install Windows barcode fonts. Use the following guidelines to ensure successful printing.
- Barcode fonts must be installed on the SSRS Server
- When installing the font, the option to “Install for all Users” must be used.
- After installing the barcode fonts the SSRS service (SQL Server Reporting Services [(MSSQLSERVER)]) must be restarted for the fonts to appear correctly.
Q and A type master number setup
To ensure successful label printing and scanning for Q and A masters, use the following guidelines:
- Dymo Large Label can support up to ~28 characters with no restrictions on characters. It can support up to 50 characters of strictly numeric only.
- Dymo Small Label can support up to ~24 characters with no restrictions on characters. It can support up to ~44 characters of strictly numeric only.
- You scanner must support code128 barcodes.
Code39 barcodes are available as well but have reduced consistency and less character support.
Print setting options in Chrome
In the print options of Google Chrome, expand ‘More settings’ and set the following options:
Paper size
- 30256 Shipping (for DYMO Large Labels)
- 30252 Address (for DYMO Small Labels)
Pages per sheet: 1
Quality: Highest possible setting (usually 300 or 600 dpi)
Scale: Fit to paper
