Tracking your time is easy with these options – available right on the form you are working on
From Task List
- Go to View > My Tasks
- Find the Task, Call, or Sales Opportunity you want to add time against, then click the corresponding Time Bill icon
- A new Time Bill record will open in read-only mode, with pre-filled details including the User, Start Date, and Start Time
- Notice the End Date / Time is blank

- The Time Bill remains open and running
- Displays at top of your My Task list

- Stop the Time Bill record by doing one of the following:
- Click the associated Time Bill icon in the Task grid
- Open record, put it in Edit mode, and enter the End Date/ Time value, then click Save
- On your My Task list, click the next item for which you wish to start time. The system simultaneously ends the current running Time Bill by pre-filling its End Date / Time and starts a new Time Bill
From a Service Call
- Open the Call record
- Click the Time Bill icon
- A new Time Bill record opens in read-only mode with pre-filled details including the User, Start Date, and Start Time
- Notice the End Date / Time is blank

- The Time Bill remains open and running
- Displays at the top of your My Task list

- Stop the Time Bill record in one of two ways:
- On the Time Bill record, click the Time Bill icon
- Open record, put it in Edit mode, and enter the End Date / Time value, then click Save
From the Resource Console
- Go to Projects > Resource Console. A scheduled Call is visible on the Resource Console as a bar
- Click the Time Bill icon on the left of the bar representing the Call
- To stop the Time Bill on the same bar, click the Time Bill icon again
