Invoice Sales Orders from the Orders to Invoice Queue
Depending on your process, you may wait until all Orders have been shipped before invoicing
As soon as the Sales Order is confirmed, it will appear in the Orders to be Invoiced grid regardless of shipping status.
- Access Orders to Invoice Queue from Accounting Main Menu > Accounts Receivable > Work Queues > Orders to Invoice Q OR from Workflow Menu > Accounts Receivable > Shipped Orders to Invoice bucket. The Orders to be Invoiced grid will open in a new tab.
- Use the Filters icon to further refine your grid results. You may wish to check the Incl Def. Proj. (Include Deferred Projects) and Incl Calls (Include Calls) checkboxes – this will depend on your Company’s invoicing process
- Highlight the Order(s) in the grid that you wish to invoice, click on the Extended Menu and select ‘Invoice Order(s).’ Confirm your selection in the pop up window that appears. The Un-Posted Invoice will open (if you are invoicing a single Invoice). You may post or print this single Invoice from the Invoice Extended Menu or Print Menu respectively.
- For multiple Invoices, step 3 will result in opening the Invoices to Print Q. From there, you may highlight the Invoice(s) created for your Order(s) and from the Extended Menu, select option to Post or Void Seleected Invoice(s) or ‘Create Master Invoice’
- Alternatively, you may highlight Invoices in the grid and click the Print icon to view print / email options. Note that printing an Invoice automatically posts this Invoice upon your confirmation that the Invoice printed correctly
