- Open a Service Call record, then click the EDIT icon
- Go to the Parts tab
- Select filter criteria, then click the Find Product button. Notice the Master Part Numbers results display in the Parts grid. Note: the Advanced Search option within the Find Product function will allow you to search by additional criteria.
- Add the Master Part Number you wish to add to this Call:
- Select the row in the Parts grid
- Click the ADD icon within the Find Product tab. Notice an additional row for the Part now appears in the Line Items grid
- For column details that are editable, edit the cell value directly in the grid as needed, including the Quantity, Unit Price, Description columns
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 as required
- Click the Save icon. The Order# field is now pre-filled for the Parts that were added. Also note the following:
- See the Call > Parts tab > Line Items grid or Call > WO/Invoice tab > Work Orders grid
- Notice the Work Order is automatically set to APPROVED status, ready for Order fulfillment. The Order Line Items tab will display all the Parts you just added.
