Admins may set internal users’ Q360 login passwords to expire, and prompt the user to create a new password.
Admins:
Pre-requisite: Config WEBLDAPSIGNON is OFF (if ON, the expire config will not be used).
- Set config option PASSWORDEXPIREDAYS to a value greater than 0. This represents the number of days a password will be valid before the user must set a new password.
- Note: This feature is not applicable to user type Q360API or to external users. External user > Password Expiry field must be used to expire an external user password.
Users:

- Password expiring warning will appear upon login during the final 5% of password validity range. Example: if password has been set to expire at 100 days, user will receive a warning when logging in on days 95-99.
- Mobile Tech
- User will not receive a warning prior to password expiration, but upon password change or expiration, the user login form will automatically display prompting the user to re-enter credentials.
