Overview
Customer-specific pricing allows your team to define special pricing for specific Customers on individual Inventory Items. Whether you want to reward high-volume clients or enforce contract-based pricing, this feature helps ensure that the right price is always applied
Available directly from the Customer form > Pricing tab in Q360, this feature provides visibility and control over Item pricing that applies only to the selected Customer. It ensures flexibility without interfering with Company-wide pricing settings
Permissions
Access to this feature depends on User Permissions:
- CUSTPRICE (View): Needed to see the Pricing tab
- CUSTPRICE (Create): Allows Users to add new pricing entries
- CUSTPRICE (Edit): Allows changes to existing pricing
- CUSTPRICE (Delete): Allows Users to delete pricing entries
If a User does not have View permission, the tab will not appear. Users with only View permission can see the pricing information, but cannot make changes
How It Works
To manage Customer-specific pricing:
- Open a Customer record from the Sales module (Sales > Customer)
- Select the Pricing tab. You will see a list of any special pricing that already exists for this Customer
- Add New Pricing: To define pricing for a specific Item, create a new row and choose the Master Item. Enter custom prices for levels A, B, C, and D, if applicable
- Set Dates and Conditions: Optionally, define an Effective Date and Termination Date for time-limited pricing. Additional fields like minimum quantities, or rounding settings may also be applied
- Edit or Delete Existing Records: Use the action buttons to edit or delete existing pricing entries. Changes take effect immediately
Each entry in this grid applies only to the selected Customer and will override default pricing rules when used on Estimates, Orders, or Invoices
