Q&A from this MasterClass
This version is available in limited release to our Early Adopters. If you are interested in scheduling your upgrade to v25.01, please contact your Q360 Admins. They may reach out to your Customer Success Manager or Customer Care Team.
Yes, grid customization is still available in v25. Additional customization options have been added including several that may be accessed via the User Preferences modal (User Name > User Preferences).
v25 features additional themes including several dark options. You may change your theme by clicking User Name > Themes > Select your desired theme. It is no longer necessary to log out and in again to see theme changes.
Yes, using whichever talk-to-text options you have enabled on your computer. This is not controlled through Q360, but text fields support this type of input.
No, but AI anchors on forms may be disabled in User Preferences.
You may discuss the upgrade testing process with your Customer Success Manager who will be happy to discuss your options.
At Solutions360, we take pride in providing a product that can be used in the field on mobile devices. While the mobile view in v25 may appear slightly different, you can feel confident that full functionality is retained and all the features you are used to will be available.
The Resource Console will continue to function as it did in v24.
No. Tasks and Assignments will continue to function as they did in v24.
Yes. The Gantt Chart now uses the standard Q360 grid as opposed to the grid built into the 3rd party Gantt lib. This adds features to Gantt charts that are not present in v24 including filtering, multi-level sorting, grouping and customization via the grid. This offers a UX more consistent with the other grids in Q360. Additionally, theme support has been added, and User Preference “Alternating Row Colors” will apply to the Gantt timeline. See release notes related to Gantt Chart for additional details.
Yes. Most of your current Quick Launch settings will transfer to v25 and may be found in your Bookmarks menu.
Help Center Procedures and videos and LMS training modules have been updated to provide you with v25-specific training. Note that when you upgrade to v25, you will be provided with access to the new v25 Help Center. Additionally, you may expect to see v25-specific MasterClasses in the near future.
Yes. Ask Q is capable of deep analysis within Q360 data. As with any AI, results may vary depending on your prompt choice and input data.
Yes! You can add sheets from multiple grids to the same workbook. Once you Export the workbook, the memory clears and any additional sheets added will be part of the next export.
Ask Q uses Large Language Models (LLMs) hosted entirely within Solutions360’s private Microsoft Azure environment. Data shared with Ask Q is not used to train any AI models and is not disclosed to third parties. Ask Q can reference general knowledge and your organization’s Q360 data that you choose to share with it, but it does not access or learn from other customers’ information. Conversations are securely stored for audit, troubleshooting, and service improvement purposes, are not searchable or reportable within Q360, and are visible only within the active chat session.
Access to Ask Q chat is not permission controlled, however, individual users will not receive AI assistance relating to or involving data to which they have not been granted appropriate permissions. Additionally, the ability to add anchors and associated articles to forms or other parts of the system is permission controlled.
Absolutely. v25 comes standard with many themes from which to choose, including several “dark” themes. Themes may be changed using the User Name Menu > Themes. Unlike previous Q36o versions, your new theme will be active as soon as you select it without needing to log out and back in for it to take effect.
Yes. If you create a prompt that fits whatever your standards may be and include an example of what the output should look like. Additionally, you may wish to create your own Ask Q article(s) and append them to the Quote Line Items grid. This will help to output the SOW response you have prompted for. This applies not only to SOW, but anywhere in the system i.e. Projects, Service, Accounting.
Although users are unable to predefine groupings of tabs to launch, with our new “recents” feature, accessing recently used tabs has become much easier. Additionally, we recommend bookmarking regularly used forms / tabs. These can then be organized by group in the bookmarks menu. Launching is currently limited to a single tab / form.
Yes. The groupings are retained on export to Excel. All layers or grouping and sub-grouping will be formatted within the spreadsheet.
Ask Q AI will be rolled out with the general release of Version 25.01. Any customers on existing beta or early adopter version may not have access to Ask Q AI yet.
This is currently in development. We are working on preparing a modern deployment of this documentation. Timing is TBD.
Users will only be able to access the specific Ask Q Article anchored on forms they are permitted to see. If a user does not have access to a form, they will not have access to said Ask Q article, nor the data displayed on said form. This means that users can not ask about data they are not permitted to load on their screen through normal permissions. Ask Q having access to Q360 data is driven by clicking the Ask Q Article button on a form to “pass” the data from that form to the Ask Q panel with associated prompts. This means that initiating a chat through the Ask Q Panel, without using an Ask Q Article button from a form, will not carry any contextual data. Additionally, users will have to be permitted to the Ask Q assistants via the AI Config. If they are not permitted to an Ask Q Assistant, they will not be able to see or use it in the Ask Q Panel, nor will they be able to use it by actioning Ask Q from an Ask Q Article with said assistant set as the default.
No. You may merge only the documents linked to the record being printed from (Quote).
There are several options:
- When creating Ask Q Articles, the context prompt is entirely natural language which means you can build in your company-specific requirements to any prompt you create.
- If using your own AI instance (i.e. creating a new AI Assistant via the AI config or using a custom Assistant outside of Q360 via Webhook from AI Config). You can write your company’s specific information into the system prompt for said AI assistant or in the webhook setup, if you are comfortable using 3rd party workflow builders like n8n, Zapier, make.com, or any 3rd party workflow or AI service that supports chat workflows and has Webhook and API capability. You can create any level of complex Retrieval Augmented Generation setups you are able to build to chat with from Q360.
- If you are hosting your own instance of Azure Blob Storage, you can configure your AI assistant to use a Search API Key, Search Service and Search Index Name to create a RAG system immediately within Q360.
